Copper has a thermal conductivity of 390 (W m-1 K-1), while aluminum has a thermal conductivity of 237 (W m-1 K-1). This means that the gold-plated copper dosage capsule heats up and cools down faster than the original. Oxidized copper is unhealthy for the body. Therefore, the capsules have been coated with gold to prevent this and benefit from the anti-allergenic effect.
